It introduces students to dynamic processes and activities in marketing and their impact on business operations. The course also develops student understanding and skills in customer relations, communication skills, and economics. Marketing Principles features a variety of activities, ethical cases, assessments, and resource lists, including specific recommendations for LAP modules and commercial publications. Two 100-item semester exams are included, and hands-on, standards-based projects are provided to appeal to a variety of learning styles. (NOTE: Prior knowledge of and experience with introductory business/marketing concepts and skills is strongly recommended as a prerequisite to Marketing Principles.)
